Monitor
Monitoring window allows the administrator to monitor all PBX MT extensions, apps, trunks and live channels in real-time.
Extensions
Monitored extensions are displayed in real time with the following details:
- Name
The name of the extension.
(E.g. Peter Doyle)
- Extension
The protocol used by the extension and extension number.
(E.g. SIP/2002)
- IP address
IP address port UAD/Phone is registered to.
(E.g. 192.168.1.1:5060)
- Status
UAD/Phone network status.
(E.g. Online/Offline)
- User Agent
UAD/Phone Brand/Version
(E.g. Yealink SIP-T41S)
- On Call
Gives the information whether the user is participating in a call at this moment.
If the user is on call picture of a headset will be shown, otherwise, this field will be blank.
If you click on an IP address, it will open up a new window showing the phone's web interface, if there is one enabled.
TIP:
Certain call actions (such as transferring calls, hanging up, etc...) can be performed on active calls as well.
Search
- Refresh
Time interval in seconds at which the data details should be refreshed
(E.g. To refresh every 10 seconds pick ‘10 sec’ from the drop-down list.)
- Tenant
This option is available on the master tenant only. A tenant whose extensions users want to monitor.
(E.g. TestTenant)
- Status
Sort extensions based on their network status (ALL, Online, Offline)
(E.g. Select Online/Offline to see only Online/Offline extensions. Select ALL to list all extensions on a Tenant.)
- Search:
Type a search phrase here. Search can be done by Extension name, Extension number or by User-Agent.
Actions
- Monitor
Listen to active conversations. Select one of the active conversations by clicking on the checkbox next to the extension, clicking this button,
and providing the extension number that should listen to the active conversation.
NOTE: You may listen to active conversations by dialing *199 + $EXTENSION number as well. But no matter which method you listen to calls with, the listening service has to be enabled in the enhanced services of the extension that listens to the call. Enable this option in Enhanced Services -> Call Monitoring.
If you hear the voice message “The vertical service dialed is not enabled. Please contact your administrator”,
which means this enhanced service is not enabled.
(E.g. Let's say extensions 1000 and 1001 are in conversation. Select this button and type 1005 into the pop-up window. Extension 1005 will ring and, once the handset is picked up, the active conversation will be heard).
- Transfer
Transfer a party from the active conversation to a different destination.
(E.g. Let's say extensions 1000 and 1001 are in conversation. Select one extension (e.g. 1000) under 'Channels' and click this button. Type 1005 in the pop-up window. Extension '1001' will be transferred to extension '1005')
- Hangup
Hang up the active conversation
(E.g. Let's say extensions 1000 and 1001 are in conversation. Select one extension (e.g. 1000) under 'Channels' and click this button. The conversation between these two extensions will be terminated).
Apps
A page that displays all currently registered apps. The page behaves similarly to 'Monitor -> Extensions' with the exception that no row will be displayed for extensions that do not have any apps present. This option is useful because it gives the opportunity to preview how many Communicator editions are online, for example.
- Name
The name of the extension which we are logged in.
(E.g. TestApp)
- Extension
The protocol used by the app and extension number.
(ex.E.g. SIP/2002)
- IP address
IP address:port UAD/Phone is registered to.
(E.g. 192.168.1.1:5060)
- App
Application name and version.
- Edition
App edition.
- On Call
Gives the information about whether the user is participating in a call at this moment.

Search-Master Tenant

You can choose here from the dropdown menu to filter which edition you want to be shown.
You can choose one of the following editions:
- ALL
- Office
- Business
- Agent
- Supervisor

- Reboot
By selecting Extension and clicking ‘Reboot’, the phone on which the selected extension is registered will reboot.
Note: This doesn’t work for all types of phones. Some phones need to be provisioned in order for this to work.
Trunks
Monitored trunks are displayed in real-time with the following details:
- Trunk:
Trunk name
- IP address:
Provider IP address
(E.g. 203.196.128.5)
- Status:
Displays the trunk status (online/offline)
NOTE: Please set the 'Qualify' = '2500' in the Trunk settings to see its status
(E.g. If the 'Qualify' trunk option is empty, 'Unmonitored' is displayed here. Otherwise, '(e) ok (159ms)' is displayed, for example)
Search
- Refresh

Live Calls
Monitored live calls are displayed in real-time with the following details:

- From
Extension name (or CallerID) and Extension number of the person that is calling are written here.
(E.g. TestExtension (101))
- To
Extension name (or CallerID) and Extension number of the user that is receiving the call are written here.
(E.g. TestExtension (102))
- Call Duration
Duration of the call
