When Do Not Disturb is enabled, calls are prevented from ringing an extension and will instead be sent immediately to voicemail. This feature is helpful when users are in a meeting or need to work on a project without disruption.
IMPORTANT: DND will prevent calls from ringing your extension on all devices (Yealink, Softphone and Mobile)
How to Enable DND
From Yealink Desk Phone:
Dial *78 or simply select the DND key. This will prevent calls from ringing your extension on all devices (Yealink, Softphone and Mobile)
From Communicator Desktop App:
Dial *78 or simply select DND from the bottom of the dial pad. DND will turn red (
) to alert the user it is turned on. This will prevent calls from ringing your extension on all devices (Yealink, Softphone and Mobile)
How to Disable DND
From Yealink Desk Phone:
Dial *79 or simply select the DND key again. This will allow calls to resume ringing your extension on all devices (Yealink, Softphone and Mobile)
From Communicator Desktop App:
Dial *79 or simply select DND from the bottom of the dial pad again. DND should no longer be red.
